The Sleeping Beauty by John Collier

It treats the famous fairy story of ‘Sleeping Beauty’ that had been told many times in European literature. Its origins obscure, in the seventeenth century it was included by Charles Perrault in his Contes du Temps Passé, while in the nineteenth century it was re-cast by the brothers Grimm and by Tennyson in his early poem ‘The Day-Dream’.
